When Jacob found himself caught between an angry uncle and a furious brother, he turned to God in prayer. Though he wasn’t known for being deeply devout, Jacob gave us a powerful example of how to pray when life feels overwhelming. He approached God humbly, reminded Him of His promises, and trusted in the covenant God had made. In the same way, we can come boldly to God—not because we’ve earned it, but because Jesus made a way. When trouble comes, prayer is our lifeline to the One who hears and provides.
