Paul experienced a lot of suffering in his life. But in the midst of all the pain, he still had hope. How is that possible? In this passage, we see some of Paul’s thinking behind it. We see that we should put our hope in the future, not the present. We remember that the Holy Spirit will help us. Lastly, we remember that God has a plan for our life.
This world stinks, but we can still live with hope.
