The time goes by so quick. That is why it is important that we are intentional every day about raising our children to know and love God.

At Island Pond, the mission of the children’s ministry is to partner with parents to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Each Sunday, we strive to foster a safe, loving, and fun environment that will help your children learn more about God.

During The 10:30am Church Service

Before the 10:30am Sunday service, children between 0 and 2 can be immediately dropped off in the nursery. The older children, up through middle school, will stay in the sanctuary during the singing to worship with their families. After the singing the pastor will announce when it is time for the kids to be dismissed. Parents will then escort their kids to the lobby to join their class.

Here are the classes currently offered:

  • Age 0-2 nursery
  • Age 3 – Kindergarten
  • 1st and 2nd grade
  • 3rd to fifth grade
  • 6th to 8th grade

Children are always welcome to stay in the service with their family, if the parents prefer. If you have a noisy, restless, or nursing child, we have two rooms available: In the library, across the hall from the sanctuary, parents are invited to bring any noisy or restless children. Down in the children’s ministry hallway, there is a mother’s room for nursing.
